Conducting an Internet search is a fast and easy way to look for college scholarship information.  The MI-Search Program from the Michigan Department of Treasury is a free information service that guides students through the scholarship search process.  Using the Student Financial Aid Web site at, you can locate Michigan specific scholarships sponsored by various colleges and universities and national scholarship database services. 

Remember to keep you scholarship search in perspective; an Internet search is just one path to information.  Other ways to obtain scholarship information include: 

  • reviewing this site for scholarships from colleges and other sources that come through our Counseling Office. 

  • discussing your college plans with your counselor

  • visiting college campuses - Financial Aid Office

  • contacting your parent's employer to inquire about possible scholarships

Scholarship Opportunities:

Applications and/or additional information for most of the scholarships listed here can be obtained in the counseling office.
